Dan Colburn
Corporate professionals face a level of financial complexity that isn’t always obvious from the outside — stock compensation, evolving benefits, retirement timelines, tax decisions, and the pressure to make the right choices at the right moments. Dan founded Colburn Wealth Management in 2011 to give people a clearer path through those decisions, with a focus on helping Cardinal Health employees prepare for retirement with confidence.
Before becoming an advisor, Dan spent 15 years at Cardinal Health in roles that shaped how he approaches planning today. He understands the demands, expectations, and long-term decisions that come with building a career inside a large organization — and he uses that firsthand experience to help clients connect their benefits, compensation, and investments into a plan that supports the retirement they want.
Dan holds an MBA and brings a practical, steady approach to financial planning. His work centers on helping clients simplify complexity, avoid costly missteps, and make informed decisions about their future.
He lives in rural central Ohio with his wife and four children. Outside of work, Dan can usually be found with his family, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time in the Florida Keys.
